BELIEVE TO ACHIEVE

  • At-risk, youth program designed to close the achievement gap

 

  • Provides high school teens with social-emotional soft skills to achieve graduation from high school and success in life

 

  • Increases schools’ “conditions for learning”, a metric that gauges whether or not the school environment enhances learning.

 

  • Reduces incidents of violence and increases the graduation rates

  • Dramatically increases school funding by retaining
    students in the district and raising the state report card
    grade

     

  • Increases the chances of retaining or expanding funding
    through future levy campaigns and leveraging
    foundation grants, ensuring financial sustainability

RESULTS:

 

Through Values-in-Action programming, Cleveland Metropolitan School District has raised its graduation rates from 47% to 85% for those students who participate in Project Love’s Believe to Achieve program.

​

Believe to Achieve program allowed Cleveland Metropolitan School District to retain $8,700 per student who did not drop out, creating $4.5 million dollars in funding for CMSD.

​
