The premiere of the Celebration of Goodness awards program will live stream at viafdn.org at 12:00 pm on Thursday, September 10th. This year’s event, titled, “Welcome to Kindland,” will present the Sam Miller Goodness Award to U.S. Senator Rob Portman, Ohio First Lady Fran DeWine, former Cleveland Mayor Mike White, and the Hebrew Free Loan Association of NE Ohio. The Arnold R. Pinkney Award for Civic Leadership will be presented to Kristin Warzocha and the Greater Cleveland Food Bank. The free, virtual luncheon will be followed up with a physical tribute book published in the Cleveland Jewish News and delivered to over 9,000 households on September 11th; it will be distributed digitally as well.
