Values-in-Action is a 501c3, non-profit, character and education organization. We have several ways that you can volunteer to help us fulfill our mission to promote kindness, caring and respect.

We frequently need volunteer assistance at our community events. These are heartwarming, inspiring events at which we recognize adults and teens who are making a positive difference in schools and communities. Our events draw between 300 and 2,000 guests. Our volunteers often comment on how rewarding it is to be a part of an event that has good news to share, and how happy they are to meet the people that we recognize. These events include Searching For Teen Leaders/Good News Day, Kickoff for Kindness, A Celebration of Goodness, and the Rescuer of Humanity Awards Dinner. Volunteers assist with registration, seating guests, distributing materials & assist with pre-planned decorations.

Project Love also has a need for volunteers to assist with assembling materials for student seminars and media kits, and assistance with mass mailing projects.

Like any non-profit service organization, Values-in-Action is interested in networking with other businesses and organizations. If you would like to have a representative from Values-in-Action speak to your business or community organization, we would be more than happy to make arrangements. We are happy to speak to parent organizations as well.
