How does this work?
You first must register to receive this free program using the above link. Then, the week of February 2nd, you will receive an email with a link to the presentation. You can then play the 30-minute video on February 5th however it works best for you - in class, in small groups, or even in an assembly. The most important thing is that students across the nation watch the video at some point on the same day (February 5th).
Is “Kickoff for Kindness” appropriate for all grade levels?
Yes! “Kickoff for Kindness” is designed for students in all grade levels. It includes a mix of player stories and student video submissions, so there’s something for everyone.
Can we share the video across multiple buildings?
Yes, please share the video link with other buildings if you'd like! Just remember, if you share the link across schools or buildings, please re-register so we can keep track of your enrollment numbers.
Can we air the video after February 5?
Absolutely! “Kickoff for Kindness” can be used at anytime after February 5th using the same link, so you can air it at a time that works best for your school.
Are there any additional lessons and activities?
YES! We encourage you to consider signing up for all of our Kindland programming that includes our popular “Be Kind STICK TOGETHER” activity, the upcoming Kindness Games, and classroom lessons! Presented by Cleveland, Ohio-based, non-profit organization, Values-in-Action Foundation, the Kindland movement is bringing together communities, businesses, organizations, and schools by recognizing and sharing the acts of kindness around us in an effort to inspire a ground swell of positivity and goodness. Kindland relies on the power of the people to do, recognize, report, and share the acts of kindness happening everyday.
