Erika Hester
Erika Hester was born in Cleveland Heights, Ohio where she was raised to make an impact on her community.
She holds a Master’s Degree in Organizational Management and has worked for the government, in higher education and non-profits.
Erika currently works for Values-In-Action as a school based facilitator. Her passion is to help the youth become their best selves so that they can become productive members of society and creating a community where all are welcome.
Erika helped to start the Great Lakes Bridges Out of Poverty movement in 2015 after falling in love with the idea that she could be an integral part of helping to build a sustainable community. She is certified to facilitate Bridges Out of Poverty, A Framework for Understanding Poverty and Getting Ahead in a Just-Gettin’-By World. Erika’s life will forever be devoted to her husband, kids and community.
