Alicia Jefferson

Alicia G. Jefferson is married and has four adult children. She and her husband (Jim) reside in Stow, Ohio. And is a product of the Cleveland Metropolitan School System. Graduating from Glenville High School she received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Science with an emphasis on Integrative Learning from Hiram College, Hiram Ohio.

 

Currently Ms. Jefferson is a Program Facilitator for the (VIA) Values in Action Foundation, Workforce Training Program. She engages with 11th and 12th grade students in preparation for the soft skills needed for employment through proven character, values development techniques and other criteria the program has to offer. Ms. Jefferson brings a wealth of energy in Education for both the traditional and non-traditional students spanning over 30 years of experience in primary, secondary and entry level college settings. She has served as Program Director of Recreational Services for Catholic Charities as well as Service Coordinator for CCBMR and AmeriCorps Vista at Hiram College (student retention) Connect2Complete Program.

 

She is an accomplished musician, loves the arts, a world traveler, an avid gardener and has a passion for young people and learning. She looks forward to sharing those experiences as the trajectory of young people’s lives move forward with new challenges and skill sets preparing them for a brighter future.
